The object was to make a tower with height and stability using only marshmallows and straws. Students dance on stage before the Vaquero Roundup spirit rally last Saturday at the UTRGV Fieldhouse in Edinburg. UTRGV President Guy Bailey welcomes the Class of 2020 last Saturday in Edinburg. About 4,000 new students are enrolled for the Fall 2016 semester. Vaqueros “put their V’s up” at the end of the university honor code. They pledged to be honest, have integrity and be respectful. Parwinder Grewal, dean of the College of Sciences, welcomes science majors. The students were introduced to the chairs of the different departments within the college.
