“It’s great that the ceasefire deal happened. But like with the current Trump administration and how he’s … stated his opinions on Gaza before, I mean, I just don’t see it likely, especially with Israel still not, like, being punished. I feel like it’s very likely that Israel would just end up doing the same thing … because there’s still conflict there between Palestine and Israel and, that, it hasn’t really disappeared, despite the ceasefire.”

“I think it’ll last for a short period. The war has been on and off for decades before this started. And I do think it will continue for decades after. Even now, we do have reports that some bodies have not been returned as scheduled with both sides blaming each other all over again. I do think that this deal is going to be just temporary.”

“I don’t think it’s going to last just because of how many times have they announced a ceasefire. And I think that considering the history of Israel against Gaza or Palestine, I don’t think you’re going to keep that kind of agreement, so to say, just because they’ve gone this far.”

“Ideally, yes, of course. … However, at least recently, I already saw … an interruption between or in the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, which is terrible, obviously. The relationship between Trump and [Benjamin] Netanyahu should have led to a swift end to the genocide. However … he has done very little to end [it]. … Right now, it’s not looking as bright.”

“I don’t think so. I think that they’re just saying that … to get people to think that it’s going to end … but I don’t believe that they’re actually going to go through with it.”
