Charm the Semester: Campus Activities Board will host Charm the Semester from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Music, Science and Learning Center on the Brownsville campus and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can enjoy hot chocolate and make charms.
Hot Chocolate at the Chapel Lawn: The Baptist Student Ministry will be giving out hot chocolate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and at the same time Wednesday on the Chapel lawn on the Edinburg campus.
Wednesday
Welcome Back Bash: Student Activities will host Welcome Back Bash from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Health & Physical Education Building II on the Edinburg campus and from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday in the PlainsCapital Bank El Gran Salón on the Brownsville campus. Attendees can enjoy asilent disco, Korean corn dogs and a soda bar.
1 Million Cup Brownsville: The Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center will host 1 Million Cups at 9 a.m. in the eBridge Center for Business and Commercialization, located at 1304 E. Adams St. in Brownsville. Local,regional and international entrepreneurs can come together to share stories, make connections and find opportunities within the community. The event is free and open to the public.
KDX’s Build Your Own Bouquet: Kappa Delta Chi Sorority-Alpha Beta will host Build Your Own Bouquet from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the University Center Cenizo Room on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can enjoy building their own bouquets and cookies.
Welcome Back Vaquero Tabling: Talk About It UTRGV will host a tabling event from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Music, Science and Learning Center lobby on the Brownsville campus.
Thursday
Chapel Days: The United Methodist Student Movement will host a worship service from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel on the Edinburg campus.
Friday
The Finance Hub General Meeting: The Finance Hub will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship building on the Edinburg campus. Free food will be provided.
Game Room Party: The Student Union and Student Activities will host a Game Room Party from noon to 3 p.m. on the Brownsville campus and from 2 to 5 p.m. on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can enjoy games, prizes and karaoke. Free food will be provided.
Sunday
Vaquero Feud: The Student Union will host its first STUNDay Night Socials of the semester from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Student Union Rio Bravo Café on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can enjoy three rounds of Family Feud and nachos.
