“I feel like we’re doing pretty well. I feel, like, business is better than it’s ever been, kind of. I feel like we’re growing a lot and really fast, so that’s a good thing. I would like for the school to kind of cater to that and be a little bit more affordable, like their tuition geared towards being financially available for incoming freshmen.”

“Culturally, I think that we need to improve. Not everyone wants to help everyone. Like, I’ve seen on campus where people need help, but everyone ignores it and when you go somewhere else, it’s like everyone tries to help you. Other than that, we’re doing OK. Healthwise, I think we need to improve that as well. But, I mean, I like the state of Texas. That’s why I chose to stay in my home state and not go abroad.”

“I say it’s pretty well-oriented in how students are well in interacting with each other just by how the majority of us are Hispanic and then we have other minorities living with us and going to school with us. I feel, like, we all have a sense of camaraderie in the university, and I feel the university cares about us. … In the news, [we see] how there’s discrimination on other campuses, even here in Texas. I feel like that’s not really an issue here.”
