Also shown is biomedical sciences sophomore Mariana Cerda. Denim Day originated in Italy and is now a worldwide event in which participants wear denim to raise awareness of sexual misconduct. Student Rights and Responsibilities, Friendship of Women Inc., Planned Parenthood and the UTRGV Collegiate Recovery Program were among the other organizations that took part in the event.
