The Office of Leadership and Social Change will host a Community Service Fair from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on the Main Building lawn on the Brownsville campus. The first UTRGV Masterworks Concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus. This concert will feature Mozartโs Requiem, sung by the University Choir with orchestra conducted by music Assistant Professor David Means. The guest soloists for the masterwork will be Associate Professor Rebecca Coberly, soprano; Maria Avalos, mezzo-soprano; Associate Professor David Sadlier, tenor; and Timothy Watkins, bass-baritone. The event will feature workshops on printmaking, demystifying robotics, gaming, drumming, virtual reality and cultural digital photography and more. Admission is free.
