Today

Sundaes on Mondays

The Student Union will give free ice cream sundaes from noon to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Commons on the Edinburg campus. Make sure to bring your student ID.

Club Tennis Fundraiser

The Club Tennis will host a fundraiser from 12:30 to 4 p.m. outside the University Library on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can buy fruit cups with the option to add chamoy and Tajin.

Zumba

University Recreation will host a zumba session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus. It combines Latin and international music with dance moves to help improve cardiovascular fitness. 

Snickety Snack

The Baptist Student Ministry will host Snackity Snack from 1:30 to 2 p.m. in the Student Union patio on the Edinburg campus.  Socialize and spread the Gospel with students through snacks.

Tuesday

Why Do Catholics…?

The Catholic Student Association will host a discussion from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union Mesquite Room on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can dive into their faith, from traditions to theology and discover what it truly means to be Catholic.

Cycle Fit

University Recreation will host a cycling session from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus. Attendees will pedal through hill climbs, sprints and many other challenging drills and exercises.

Wednesday

BAA Meeting

The Brownsville Accounting Association will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 1.121 on the Brownsville campus. Attendees will discuss key topics and updates about the organization and can share ideas and contribute to the group. Free food will be provided. 

Vaquero Cumbia Fest

The Student Union will host the Vaquero Cumbia Fest from 7 to 10 p.m. on the lawn on the Brownsville campus. Attendees can join for an evening with live music, food and a costume contest. There will be DIY activities, games and plenty of cumbia vibes.

Thursday

IFSO Meeting

The Intersectional Feminist Student Organization will meet from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. in the Interdisciplinary Academic Building on the Brownsville campus.

Psychology Club Meeting

The Psychology Club will meet from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Student Academic Center on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can discuss interesting topics, plan upcoming events and connect with fellow psychology enthusiasts. Free food will be provided.

Friday

SGA Senate Meeting

The Student Government Association will meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Student Academic Center Room 1.101 on the Edinburg campus. Students will have a chance to voice a topic of importance to senators.

Boxing

University Recreation will host a boxing class from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus.

Saturday

Family Day

Parent & Family Involvement will host Family Day from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus and at the same time April 12 at the Quad on the Edinburg campus. Students and families will have the opportunity to mingle and connect with the UTRGV community.
