Sundaes on Mondays

Student Union will give free ice cream from noon to 1 p.m. on the Student Union veranda on the Brownsville campus. Make sure to bring your student ID.

Caring for the Valley Meeting

Caring for the Valley will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 1.208 on the Brownsville campus. The meeting will discuss current events, fundraising and volunteer opportunities.

Texas Rising Tabling

Texas Rising will host its weekly tabling from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the University Library first floor on the Brownsville campus. The organization will get to know students, discuss the organization and promote events. Free stuff and food will be provided. 

Tuesday

Why do Catholics…?

The Catholic Student Association will hold a discussion from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 2.219 on the Brownsville campus and at the same time Wednesday in the Student Union Mesquite Room on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can dive into their faith, from traditions to theology and discover what it truly means to be Catholic.

DSAA Meeting

The Data Structures and Algorithm Architects will meet from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Engineering & Academic Building Room 1.208 on the Edinburg campus. Beginners or seasoned coders are welcomed to sharpen their skills, share insights and work along fellow students. 

Wednesday 

BAA Interview Workshop

The Brownsville Accounting Association will host a mock interview workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Interdisciplinary Academic Building on the Brownsville campus. Practice one-on-one interviews, receive feedback and refine your interview skills.

HOST General Meeting

The Hospitality and Tourism Student Management student organization will meet from 3:30 t0 4:30 p.m. in Robert C. Vackar College of Business & Entrepreneurship Building Room 116 on the Edinburg campus. The topic will be the Meeting Plan industry. Free food and drinks will be provided. 

UREC|Yoga

University Recreation will host a yoga lesson from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus. In this class the basic, foundational poses are practiced for aligning, strengthening and promoting flexibility in the body.  

Thursday

Environmental Awareness Club

The Environmental Awareness Club will meet from noon to 2 p.m. in the Student Union Palmetto Room on the Edinburg campus. Attendees will discuss upcoming events including field trips, fundraisers, symposiums and can meet people who are environmentally conscious and new friends.

ACJA General Meeting

The American Criminal Justice Association [Iota Kappa Chi] will meet from 3 to 6 p.m. in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.105 on the Brownsville campus. Attendees can learn skills needed and criminal justice knowledge.

Friday

Teachers Job Expo

The Career Center will host a Teachers Job Expo from 9 a.m. to noon in the University Recreation Building on the Edinburg campus. The event focuses on promoting careers for students and alumni interested in the field of education. Attendees are encouraged to dress business professional and bring resumes.

Saturday

Family Day

Parent & Family Involvement will host Family Day from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus and at the same time April 12 at the Quad on the Edinburg campus. Students and families will have the opportunity to mingle and connect with the UTRGV community.
