English junior
Q: What are you most excited about as you get ready to go back to school?
A: “I’m most excited to get back into the classes. I am an English major so I’m really excited to get more into, like, the creative part of my major.”
Q: What’s your favorite thing about being an English major?
A: “I would say the fact [that,] like, our classes are very interactive so we do a lot of, like, workshops and … criticism within each other. Constructive, of course.”
Q: What is the worst thing that can happen on the first day of school?
A: “I think being late to your classes, maybe it goes for any day, but I would say … not being able to find a parking space and then going in late to your first day of class.”
Q: Have you ever been late to a class?
A: “Oh yeah, all the time.”
Q: What advice would you give if it’s someone’s first day on campus?
A: “I would say just be confident in yourself. I think we all can get a little bit nervous, especially if we aren’t sure where we are going, but I say just be confident and you know, fake it until you make it, I guess.”
