âPues, de la mĂĄs reciente y como Mexicana, se me hace muy ridĂculo que quiera a fuerzas hacernos pagar por un muro que definitivamente no se necesita. AdemĂĄs de que dentro de sus propuestas para que nosotros le paguemos es cobrarle a los carteles de MĂ©xico, lo cual es tirarse encima una guerra grandĂsima. Otra cosa, cuando dijo que querĂa bloquearle la entrada a las personas de paĂses de medio oriente tambiĂ©n es una ridiculez porque hay muchas personas que a veces tienen que viajar a Estados Unidos y hacer negocios y ya no va a ser posible visitar a sus familias incluso. Lo de las pipas tambiĂ©n, quitarles su derecho a los nativos americanos de seguir teniendo esa accesibilidad en su territorio, es tambiĂ©n como que muy ridĂculoâ.
âI think that in some part itâs depressing, because ever since he has started his campaign and from his promises to what he has actually taken action on, itâs hurting our relationship with our neighbor in the south, Mexico, for example. Heâs creating issues with a country that has only been our ally. Apart from that, with his other executive actions, itâs not going to help our development as a society. We are trying to move forward from what has been from the past, what has hurt us, and it seems like weâre not necessarily learning from history. Weâre trying to repeat it, sadly, with his administration. So, I think itâs depressing. I think itâs sad but, at the same time, I have hope that as a nation we can rise up and show him that we are better than this.â
âI honestly donât really believe in his opinions, just because I feel like heâs taking things out of proportions, very irrational. I feel like heâs making quick decisions and thatâs bad. Heâs hurting the economy; heâs hurting all these immigrants that have been here for several years and without a choice. They just came to America; heâs like, âOK, youâre going to go back to where you came from.â Thatâs not fair because they didnât have a choice, because they came here with their parents and stuff. Also, the whole abortion thing, he just took away our rights to have abortions. I donât have a choice anymore. If I get pregnant, oh well, too late, too bad. I canât do anything about it; itâs illegal now. Heâs just taking a lot without asking.â
âI think they are uncalled for and unnecessary because there are many people from the places that have been restricted to come to the U.S. that are only here to work and I think it is restricting many people who are legally allowed to be in the U.S. to perform their daily duties and if you look up the numbers online, I think it is unnecessary because more people die from other Americans than from terrorist attacks. So, it is âremovingâ something that is not really much of a problem every year.â
